Landscaping & gardening in Ireland

Landscapers and gardeners in Ireland

Landscaping in Ireland spans one-van garden maintenance rounds, design-and-build landscapers and grounds-maintenance contractors serving housing estates and businesses. This list covers the companies on the CRO register whose principal activity is landscape service activities.

What to check before you hire

• Design and build. Garden designers and landscape contractors are often different companies; ask whether the firm does both.
• Tree work. Felling and major pruning should be done by a trained arborist; some trees need a felling licence from the Department of Agriculture or are protected by a Tree Preservation Order.
• Insurance. Ask for public liability cover, especially for hard landscaping and machinery work.

How this list is built

Companies are included when the CRO register gives NACE code 81.3 (landscape service activities) as their principal activity. Phone numbers, websites and descriptions come from each company's own website; nothing is copied from other directories.
